2) The purpose of collection and processing

Paw Power Pet Care only collects and processes the personal data you provide for core business purposes. Such as answering queries raised by potential customers, providing services customers have requested.

3) Legal basis for processing your data

Paw Power Pet Care uses the following legal basis to process your data:

a) Some of the information I collect is provided by you voluntarily (and therefore with your permission/consent), for example when you or submit a query via the website contact form.

b) If you request Paw Power Pet Care provide a service for you, all of the information I collect is necessary so that I can fulfil the contractual obligation between myself and the customer to the highest standard.

The remainder of the information is collected for my legitimate business purposes, which include:

a) To keep in touch with current, past and prospective customers.

b) To provide online account management and related services.

c) To gain an understanding of how my customers interact with me so I can provide the most relevant products and services.

d) To monitor the use of my website and improve its facilities.

e) To identify suspected criminal activity and take appropriate action.

f) To protect and defend my rights.

I archive your personal data during the entire statutory period of limitations. For instance, I may retain certain information after you have ceased using my services for a period of time needed to protect myself from legal claims.

a) Right to access or transfer your data

You may request a copy of personal data which I hold about you or to request that I transfer that information to another third party (known as “data portability”).

Your personal data will be provided to you in a machine-readable format.

b) Your right to be forgotten 

This enables you to ask me to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for me continuing to process it. I try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month.

 

Occasionally it may take me longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, I will notify you and keep you updated.

To exercise your rights, you can submit a request either in written or verbal form. I may request you provide proof of identification before considering data requests.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights).

However, I may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive.
